Well only 2 weeks to go! I would say we are about to hit the dog days of summer but sadly it is raining. The first person to tell me that the Calgary Hitmen won the 2010 WHL Championship gets gummy candy!

	Science Do you know how to assemble a proton torpedo? Well neither do I but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to learn about important concepts such as water conservation and the inner workings of Wetlands!
	Social The grade 5 students within the empire are currently very social. Learning about their history will ensure that mistakes from the past will not be repeated.
	Language Arts To defeat the empire we will need to improve our communication. To create battle plans we need to read, write and speak in code to avoid capture.
	Physical Education Jedi training continues to go well. We don't have any floating balls that shoot lasers for light sabre training however we will have some fun and get that daily physical activity.
	French In any galactic empire, it is important to speak multiple languages. Given the choice of learning the grunts and groans of Wookie or French, we choose French.... barely.
