Calgary Catholic School District 125th Anniversary

Thank you to all those who came and joined in on the fun for our Blessed Kateri Day and 125th Anniversary Celebration on May 7th. To start our day off we served a pancake breakfast to almost 400 people. After that we participated in a liturgy that celebrated the life of Blessed Kateri and her good works including a skit performed by the grade two students.
During the 125th celebration we listened to a special message from our trustee, Rosemarie Goerlitz and received a congratulatory plaque from our MLA, Manmeet Bhullar. We enjoyed a historical video that covered Calgary Catholic's early years and went on to highlight the history and growth of our own school. Award winning Hoop Dancers, Metis Spirit, put on a stunning display and our choir performed an inspiring song including solos from several students. We finished off a fabulous day with chocolate cupcakes for all!
